“沪宁高速公路25年沥青路面高效养护综合技术研发与跟踪验证示范”(以下简称“沪宁高速示范项目”)是由江苏宁沪高速公路股份有限公司(以下简称“宁沪公司”)联合江苏中路工程技术研究院有限公司等相关研究机构,开展的沪宁高速 公路25年沥青路面性能跟踪观测与养护实践,该示范项目获得授权专利18项(含PCT专利1项)、主编标准3部(含行业标准1部),技术应用规模超过100亿,累计创造经济效益30亿元。项目研究成果经中国公路学会专家组鉴定为总体达到国际先进水平,其中半刚性基层沥青路面病害发展规律的研究 达到国际领先水平。 

25年观测研究 揭示演变规律

沪宁高速示范项目在经历新建、扩建、养护全寿命周期25年观测研究后,项目成果揭示了路表功能、结构性能、材料性能的长期性能演变规律。在路表功能方面,项目研究了江苏省沥青路面不同时期“水损坏、车辙、裂缝、抗滑”病害的典型特征,揭示了横缝“S型”、纵缝“先缓慢后迅速增加二阶段型”等路面关键性能演变规律并建立了经验法模型,明确了横缝受路龄影响显著、抗滑受交通量自然数影响显著等规律;在结构性能方面,揭示了结构完整性以层间黏结失效为主、结构强度裂缝处急剧衰减等规律;在材料性能方面,明确了中面层高温性能“压密-稳定-流动”三阶段型发展规律及中面层流动变形对应的车辙深度临界值。

研发成套养护技术 建立科学决策体系

沪宁高速示范项目研发了高速公路沥青路面延寿养护系列高性能材料和成套工艺,提出了功能性修复与结构性预防决策方法。针对功能性修复,研发了“粗细集料嵌挤+纤维加筋”的复式精表处封层技术,研发了抗车辙与抗裂能力双提升U-PAVE超薄铺装沥青混合料,高温性能等级提升10℃;针对结构性预防,研发了满足板体强度修复的“自下而上式”裂缝微创注浆技术,取芯完整率超过85%,强度恢复率超过80%,研发了抗车辙能力与模量双提升的高模量沥青混合料,动稳定度与动态模量提升2倍以上;提出了沥青路面结构性能状况分级评价标准及养护策略,建立了功能性修复与结构性预防决策方法。

大流量集约养护 智能化配套管控

沪宁高速示范项目创建了大流量高速公路集约化养护模式与决策方法,开发了施工质量智能化管控成套技术。提出了不同路段、不同作业类型时间与空间维度集约化养护模式,形成了集约化养护决策体系,能够缩短养护工期90%以上;开发了全数据链自动化采集物联网装备,利用允许限值内百分率PWL提出了融合过程质量和最终产品质量的养护工程质量综合评价指标,进一步提升了沪宁高速公路养护质量。


Jiangsu Experience in Maintenance of Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway

“25-year comprehensive technology R&D and tracking and verification demonstration for efficient maintenance of asphalt pavement of Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway” (hereinafter referred to as “Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway Demonstration Project”) refers to the practice of 25-year performance tracking and observation as well as maintenance of asphalt pavement of Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway conducted by Jiangsu Expressway Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Jiangsu Expressway”) in cooperation with Jiangsu Zhonglu Engineering Technology Institute Co., Ltd. and other research institutes. This demonstration project’s team obtained 18 authorized patents (including one PCT patent), and was the editor-in-chief of three pieces of standards (including one piece of industry standard). The technology application realized a value of over 10 billion yuan, and the cumulative economic benefits reached three billion yuan. The research results of this project were rated by the expert group of China Highway & Transportation Society as internationally advanced. The results of its research on the progression law of diseases affecting semi-rigid base asphalt pavement were world-leading.

25-year observation and research reveal the law of evolution

After 25 years of observation and research on the life cycle of construction, expansion and maintenance of the demonstration project, the project revealed the law of long-term performance evolution of road surface function, structural performance and material properties. In terms of road surface function, the project studied the typical characteristics of diseases such as “water damage, ruts, cracks and skid resistance” of asphalt pavement in different periods in Jiangsu Province, revealed the law of evolution of key pavement properties such as "S-shaped" horizontal joints and "slow before rapid increase" for longitudinal joints, established an empirical approach model, and clarified the laws that horizontal joints are significantly affected by service life of road and that skid resistance is significantly affected by the number of road vehicles. In terms of structural performance, it was revealed that structural integrity mainly refers to interlayer bonding failure; structural strength cracks sharply decay, etc. In terms of material properties, it clarified the three-stage development law of “compaction, stability and flow” of high-temperature performance of the middle surface course as well as the critical value of rut depth corresponding to the flow deformation of the middle surface course. 

Developed a complete set of maintenance technologies and established scientific decision-making system

In the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway demonstration project, the project team developed high-performance materials and complete processes for the life extension and maintenance of highway asphalt pavement, and came up with methods for functional repair and structural prevention. To perform functional repair, it developed the composite fine surface sealing technology featuring “coarse and fine aggregate interlocking and compaction + fiber reinforcement”, and the U-PAVE ultra-thin paving bituminous mixture with improvement in rutting and crack resistance, which enhances the high-temperature performance level by 10°C. For structural prevention, it developed the “bottom-up” minimally invasive grouting technology for cracks that ensure the plate strength repair, with a coring completion rate of over 85% and a strength recovery rate of over 80%; developed a high-modulus bituminous mixture with improvement in rutting resistance and modulus, which increase the dynamic stability and dynamic modulus by more than two times; put forward the grading evaluation criteria for asphalt pavement structure performance as well as maintenance strategy, and established the method for functional repair and structural prevention. 

Heavy traffic-flow intensive maintenance and intelligent supporting control

In the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway Demonstration Project, the project team created an intensive maintenance mode and decision-making method for heavy traffic-flow expressways, and developed a suite of technologies for intelligent management of construction quality; put forward intensive maintenance mode with time and space dimensions according to different road sections and different operation types, and formed an intensive maintenance decision-making system, which can shorten the maintenance period by over 90%; developed full data chain-based automatic collection IoT equipment, and put forward the comprehensive evaluation index of maintenance engineering quality integrating process quality and final product quality using percent within limits (PWL), which further improves the maintenance quality of Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway.

科技创新应用实例

成果一:沥青路面裂缝微创注浆修复技术

沥青路面裂缝微创注浆修复工艺所用材料为渗透性好、强度高、成型快的耐水型高聚物,同时通过成套设备实现自动化控制,提高施工质量稳定性,采用该技术进行非开挖注浆裂缝修补,能够实现处治15分钟后,快速开放交通,且注浆材料能与半刚性基层材料具有较好的黏结性。

【应用工程】目前,该技术已在沪宁、沿江、宁杭等高速公路江苏段,京沪、长深等高速公路天津段,以及澎湖高速江西段开展了大规模运用,累计裂缝修补长度5万延米。

成果二:沥青路面结构内部健康状态高速检测技术 

该技术运用“高动态雷达+连续式激光弯沉+线激光全断面车辙扫描”三位一体,从表观到内部、从整体到局部,人工智能助力雷达图像自动识别,能够实现快速、无损、不阻断交通为沥青路面提供自动化、智能化全方位健康诊断服务。 

【应用工程】自2019年起,江苏省开展结构内部健康状态高速检测以来,该技术已在沪宁、京沪、沿江、沿海等23条高速公路上应用,检测里程超过5000公里成果三:复式精表处预防性养护技术为保护原路面,提升路面抗滑性能,复式精表处预防性养护技术以高强乳化沥青作为黏结剂,搭配耐磨石料和界面保护剂,利用同步封层撒布设备分层撒布至原路面,形成“三油两石”的5毫米厚薄层结构,以达到防治路面的效果。

【应用工程】目前,该技术已在江苏省润扬大桥高速、沿江高速、宁杭高速、宁常高速实施应用,施工面积超过10万平方米。

成果四:“长寿路面 双十面层”技术

中路交科瞄准江苏省“双十路面百年桥”的建设目标,创新性开展“长寿路面 双十面层”建设,构建沥青路面设计、施工、养护全过程关键指标体系及总体技术发展路径,为高速公路沥青路面高质量建设与延寿使用奠定重要基础。

【应用工程】目前,该技术在京沪高速改扩建工程中予以应用,应用里程达330公里,后续将指导江苏全省高速公路“长寿路面 双十面层”沥青路面建设。

Cases of applications of technological innovations

It is committed to providing systematic and innovative solutions for the engineering field. The application cases of scientific and technological achievements over the years are as follows: 

Achievement 1: Minimally invasive grouting repair technology for asphalt pavement cracks

The materials used in the minimally invasive grouting repair process of asphalt pavement cracks are water-resistant high-strength high polymers with good permeability and fast forming. At the same time, it realized automatic control through complete equipment in order to ensure stable construction quality. With this technology for trenchless grouting for crack repair, traffic can be opened after 15 minutes of treatment, and grouting materials are highly adhesive to semi-rigid base course materials. 

[Application engineering] This technology has been extensively used for the Jiangsu sections of Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, Yanjiang Expressway, Nanjing -Hangzhou Expressway and other expressways, the Tianjin sections of Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, Changchun-Shenzhen Expressway and other expressways, as well as the Jiangxi section of Penghu Expressway, having repaired cracks 50,000 meters long. 

Achievement 2: Technology for fast detection of internal health of asphalt pavement structure

This technology combines “highly dynamic radar + continuous laser deflection + line laser for full-section rut scanning”, covering both the surface to the interior, as well as the whole to local areas. AI-based automatic recognition of radar images can provide automated, intelligent all-round health diagnosis services for asphalt pavement while ensuring fast, non-destructive repair without traffic disruption. 

[Application Engineering] Since 2019, Jiangsu Province has performed high-speed detection of internal health status of structures. This technology has been used for 23 expressways such as Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, Yanjiang Expressway, and Yanhai Expressway, with a detection length of over 5,000 km.

Achievement 3: Preventive maintenance technology for compound fiber fine surface treatment 

In order to protect the pavement and enhance its anti-slip performance, it adopts the preventive maintenance technology for compound fiber fine surface treatment, which uses high-strength emulsified asphalt as the adhesive, supported by wear-resistant stone and interface protective agent. Synchronous sealing and spreading equipment is used to spread it in layers on the original pavement in order to form a 5mm thick structure with “three types of oils and two types of stones”, thereby achieving the effect of pavement treatment. 

[Application Engineering] This technology has been applied in the construction of Jiangsu Runyang Bridge Expressway, Yanjiang Expressway, Nanjing-Hangzhou Expressway and Nanjing-Changzhou Expressway, with a construction area of over 100,000 square meters. 

Achievement 4: Technology for “long-lasting pavement and double-ten surface course” 

In line with the goal of “centennial bridge with double-ten pavement” in Jiangsu Province, Sinoroad innovatively carried out the construction of “long-lasting pavement and double-ten surface course”, and established a key index system and technical development path for the design, construction and maintenance of asphalt pavement, laying the groundwork for the high-quality construction and life extension of asphalt expressway pavement. 

[Application Engineering] This technology has been applied in the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway reconstruction and expansion project, covering a length of 330 kilometers. It will be used to guide the construction of “long-lasting pavement and double-ten surface course” for expressways in Jiangsu Province.
