城市中心特大型地下交通枢纽的“光谷样板”

光谷广场综合体地处武汉光谷门户和商业核心区,集3条地铁线的4座地铁站、2条市政隧道、地下空间及地下非机动车环道于一体。该项目集约利用城市土地资源,在城市中心节点实现地面六路、地下五线交汇,同时通过地下空间连通周边百万平方米商业区,带动城市可持续发展,提升和完善城市中心节点功能,创造优美的城市环境。

首创城市中心地下交通枢纽一体化解决方案

随着我国城市化的快速推进,“城市病”问题显现,这与人们对于安全、便捷、绿色、舒适的生活需求之间的矛盾日益突出。解决城市中心交通问题面临的主要技术瓶颈主要体现在三方面:城市中心节点有限空间内各类型交通一体化;城市中心地下交通枢纽的安全快速建造;超大客流条件下保障工程畅通、安全、智慧、绿色运行。

该项目以地处中国光谷交通门户、两隧三线四站地下立交的武汉光谷广场综合体为工程依托,历经6年联合攻关,首创以三环层叠、多线放射为基本形态的城市中心综合交通枢纽功能一体化解决方法,创建了基于同向归并、异向立交、地下高架交通线的全新综合交通枢纽空间布局,研发了城市中心地下交通枢纽安全快速建造、安全绿色运行关键技术,构建了城市中心特大型地下交通枢纽设计建造成套技术体系。

实现各类型交通立体分流

城市中心特大型地下交通枢纽成套创新技术在中国光谷-光谷广场综合体工程中示范应用,在武汉交通咽喉和商业核心地下空间内,一体化建造了2条公路隧道、3条地铁线路、4座地铁站、1条非机动车环道及约2万平方米的商业空间,系统性构建了集约化的地下交通枢纽,实现了各类型交通的立体分流和顺畅通行,节约了土地资源和工程投资,取得了显著 的经济社会效益。 

系列创新成果填补了我国城市中心特大型地下交通枢纽一体化布局、安全快速建造与安全绿色运营技术领域的多项空白,解决了工程设计建造与运维中面临的一系列重大技术难题,其先进的技术和理念对于解决城市中心节点日益突出的拥堵问题具有很强的示范效应和开拓意义,为以后类似工程的设计建造提供了理论依据、成套技术和实践经验。

“Optics Valley Model” for Ultra-large Underground Transportation Hub in Urban Centers

Optics Valley Square Complex is located at the gateway and core commercial area of Optics Valley in Wuhan, served by four metro stations with 3 lines, 2 municipal tunnels, underground space and underground ring road for non-motor vehicles. The project intensively utilizes urban land by realizing the confluence of six roads above ground and five lines underground at the urban center node, while linking the nearby million-square-meter commercial district through underground space. It spurs the sustainable development of the city, improves the functions of the urban center node, and creates a beautiful urban environment. 

The groundbreaking integrated solution for underground transportation hubs in urban centers

“Urban diseases” occur as a result of the rapid urbanization in China, further entrenching the conflict with people’s yearning for a safe, convenient, green and comfortable life. The main technical bottlenecks to solving the traffic problems in urban centers are reflected in three areas: the integration of various types of transport in the limited space of urban center nodes; safe and rapid construction of underground transportation hubs in urban centers; ensuring the smooth, safe, intelligent and green operation of engineering projects in the face of huge passenger flow volume. 

The project is based on Wuhan Optics Valley Square Complex, which is located at the transportation gateway of the Optics Valley with the services of two tunnels, three metro lines and four stations. After six years of joint scientific research, the project team pioneered the solution with integrated functions for comprehensive transportation hub in urban centers in which three ring roads are stacked and multiple lines extend outwards; created a new spatial layout for comprehensive transportation hub based on same-direction combination, opposite-direction interchange and underground elevated traffic lines; developed key technologies for safe and rapid construction as well as safe and green operation of underground transportation hubs in urban centers; and established a complete technical system for the design and construction of super-large underground transportation hubs in urban centers. 

Realize integrated diversion of traffic of various types 

The complete innovative technologies for super-large underground transportation hubs in urban centers have been applied in Optics Valley Square complex project in Wuhan city. In the underground space of Wuhan's transportation hub and commercial center are two highway tunnels, three metro lines, four metro stations, one ring road for non-motorized traffic and a commercial space of about 20,000 square meters. The integrated underground transportation hub ensures the diversion and unimpeded running of various types of traffic, resulting in savings in land resources and engineering investment, as well as significant economic and social benefits. 

The innovative achievements make possible integrated planning, safe and rapid construction as well as safe and green operation of super-large underground transportation hubs in China’s urban centers. It has solved a host of major technical problems facing engineering design, construction and operation & maintenance. Its state-of-the-art technologies and concepts have a demonstration effect and pioneering significance for solving the increasingly prominent congestion in urban center nodes, and provide theoretical basis, technology and empirical experience for the design and construction of similar projects.
