专家简介(Introduction)

周炜,博士,研究员,俄罗斯工程院外籍院士,交通运输行业“运输车辆运行安全技术”重点实验室主任,交通运输行业重点领域“道路运输安全与应急救援技术创新团队”带头人。交通运输部专家委员会委员,国家安全生产专家组成员,国家安全生产应急专家组成员,特别重大道路交通事故国务院调查组成员。主要从事交通运输领域“智能安全、运行保障、车辆性能、车路协同、应急处置及救援”等方面技术研究。

Dr. Zhou Wei is a professor, Foreign Members of the Russian Academy of Engineering, director of Transportation Industry Key Laboratory of Transportation Vehicle Operation Safety Technology, and the leader of "Road Transportation Safety and Emergency Rescue Technology Innovation Team" in key field of transportation industry. He is also a member of the Expert Committee of the Ministry of Transport, the State Expert Group on work safety, the State Expert Group on Emergency response to work safety, The State Council investigation group on especially serious road traffic accidents. His research interests include intelligent safety, operation support, vehicle performance, vehicle-road cooperation, emergency response and rescue in the field of transportation.

Transportation industry focus on how to use the autonomous vehicle. 致力于车路云网图在开放环境下智能化和安全性的综合评测与管理体系研究,对科学、有效、量化的评估方法及与管理服务体系有着丰富经验。担任全国专业标准化技术委员会、中国公路学会自动驾驶工作委员会 、中国人工智能学会智能驾驶专业委员会、中国通信学会车联网委员会等多个专业委员会委员。参与了数十项国家、地方、行业标准研制工作;支持部委及多省市出台系列智能网联汽车道路测试与示范政策,推进产业落地。

Wu Qiong has committed to the intelligent and security comprehensive evaluation and management system research of vehicle-road-cloud-network-map integrated in an open environment, has rich experience in scientific, effective and quantitative evaluation methods and management service system. She serves as a key expert member of multiple professional committees such as the National Technical Committee of Professional Standardization, the Autonomous Driving Working Committee of the China Highway and Transportation Society, the Intelligent Driving Professional Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, and the Vehicle Networking Committee of the China Institute of Communications.

Baidu, as a world's leading autonomous driving company, has developed the full-stack technology of vehicle-road-cloud-network-map integration. With a testing and demonstration mileage of more than 50 million kilometers and more than 2 million service trips for users, Baidu has been the world's largest and most active autonomous driving travel service provider. Baidu continues to make breakthroughs in autonomous driving technology under mixed traffic flow, and has taken the lead in carrying out L4 autonomous driving practices without a safety driver in the vehicles in multiple cities in China. This report will share Baidu's latest progress in L4 autonomous driving technology and operation practices, and discuss the development path of autonomous driving.

崔迪潇  Cui Dixiao

智加科技中国首席科学家

Chief Scientist of Plus China

专家简介(Introduction)

崔迪潇,智加科技中国首席科学家。西安交通大学控制科学与工程专业博士,帕尔马大学VisLab实验室联合培养博士。国内较早一批的自动驾驶科研工作者,超十年自动驾驶一线研究和产业落地经历。现兼任中国人工智能学会、中国自动化学会、中国公路学会相关专委会委员。获江苏省双创人才、双创博士、苏州市劳模等称号。

Dr. Cui Dixiao is chief Scientist of Plus China. He holds a Ph.D. in Control Science and Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University and a joint training Ph. D from VisLab University of Parma in Italy. Dr. Cui has more than 10 years of experience in autonomous driving. He is also a member of the Chinese Association of Artificial Intelligence, the Chinese Association of Automation, the China Highway and Transportation Society and other committees.

The Application of Connected Vehicles and Autonomous Driving in Long-Haul Trucking

作为全球领先的干线物流自动驾驶企业,智加拥有自研的L4级自动驾驶全栈技术,并采用渐进式的自动驾驶商业化路线。智加完成了世界首次高速公路完全无人驾驶重卡测试,以及中国首次收费站到收费站的自动驾驶重卡试运营;智加已率先实现有人监督的“PlusDrive”系统的量产,并与物流领先企业进行商业化合作。本次报告将分享智加在L4技术研发和L4“降维”量产的最新进展,并结合真实物流场景探讨车路协同技术应用和前景。

As a global leader in autonomous driving for long-haul trucking, Plus has developed independently full-stack “Level 4” autonomous driving technology,and takes an evolutionary path to commercialization of autonomous driving. Plus conducted the world's first fully driverless trucking test on highway, and the first autonomous driving trial transportation between toll booths. Meanwhile, Plus took the lead in the SOP of supervised autonomous driving system, which is named “PlusDrive”. Plus is also commercially cooperating with leading logistics companies. In the presentation, the latest progress of Plus in L4 technology development and its “dimensionality-reductive” mass production will be shared,along with considerations on the application and prospect of connected vehicles in terms of real-world logistics scenarios.

穆北鹏  Mu Beipeng

美团自动车配送部高精地图和定位负责人

Head of Mapping and Localization at Meituan's Autonomous Delivery Department

专家简介(Introduction)

穆北鹏于清华大学取得学士学位,麻省理工学院取得硕士和博士学位,入选国家高层次青年人才计划。在Meta Reality Lab的livemap组担任研发科学家参与建设了AR原型机开发和动态活地图,在Momenta担任研发总监主导研发和量产高精地图建图技术、后装ADAS技术等。在SLAM、3D视觉、多传感器融、AR、自动驾驶等技术方向有深入研究。在IROS、RSS、TRO等发表论文20余篇、专利数十篇。

Beipeng Mu obtained her bachlors' degree from Tsinghua University, and PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has worked at Meta as a research scientist, and Momenta as senior R&D director. She is the head of mapping and localization at Meituan's autonomous delivery department. Her expertise is on mapping and localization algorithms, sensor fusion and machine learning, especially with application on autonomous driving and AR/VR.

Meituan is a company based in Beijing that provides delivery services, and has become one of the most valuable publicly-traded companies in recent years. In this talk, I will introduce how we think autonomous driving can help last mile delivery. I will talk about the challenges we face in L4 driving in urban areas, the technology stack, and how we might tackle them.

Deng Zhiwei was graduated from the department of automotive engineering, Tsinghua University with both bachelor and master degree. He previously worked for Huawei and iQiyi with more than 20 years' research and development work experiences in fields of hardware, chips and operating system, and has accumulated abundant experiences in operating system, automobile electronics and smart terminals.
