Professor, Chairman of the WTC Transportation Planning Department, Director of the Key Laboratory of the Transportation Industry for Comprehensive Transportation Big Data Application Technology, presided over more than 40 scientific research projects, published more than 200 academic papers, 4 monographs and books, 19 invention patents, 19 software copyrights, and won the second prize of the Beijing Science and Technology Award Zhan Tianyou Special Prize for Railway Science and Technology Award, the first prize of Science and Technology Award of China Communications and Transportation Association, the first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of China Urban Rail Transit Association, the top ten outstanding scientific and technological workers of China Highway Society, etc.

专家简介(Introduction)

张峻屹于2021年被评选为日本工程院外籍院士,入选斯坦福大学出版的世界2%科学家。他的交叉学科研究领域包括城市与区域规划、交通规划、交通工程、环境与能源政策、健康政策、大流行病政策、旅游政策、可持续发展政策、人的行为研究。截至2022年8月,他共发表了480余篇学术论文(SCI/SSCI论文:100余篇)。

Junyi Zhang has been a foreign follow of The Engineering Academy of Japan since February 2021. He was selected as World’s Top 2% Scientists in 2021, issued by Stanford University. His transdisciplinary research fields include urban and regional planning, transportation planning and engineering, environmental and energy policy, health policy, pandemic policy, tourism policy, sustainable development policy, and human behavior research. As of August 2022, he published 480+ refereed academic papers (SCI/SSCI papers: 100+). transportation, environment and energy, health and tourism, Based on the interdisciplinary approach, the development and application of methodologies (survey, modeling, policy evaluation and planning) that can help solve various problems are studied. So far, more than 480 academic papers (including 100 SCI/SSCI papers) have been published with review.

HEARTY城市的概念由张峻屹提出,其中,H指的是健康(Healthy),E意味着能源敏感(Energy-sensitive), A指的是人工智能驱动(AI-driven),R代表韧性(Resilient),T表达的是游客喜欢(Tourist-liking),Y指的是向往(Yearning)。六大要素并非彼此独立,交通(作为建成环境的关键部分之一)在HEARTY城市发挥核心的作用。

The concept of HEARTY City is proposed by Junyi Zhang, where H indicates “Healthy”, E means “Energy-sensitive”, A refers to “AI-driven”, R represents “Resilient”, T expresses “Tourist-liking”, and Y implies “Yearning”. The six elements of H-E-A-R-T-Y City are not independent of each other, where transport (as a key part of the built environment) is positioned at the core for making HEARTY City work. This speech will be wrapped up by discussing how to integrate the six H-E-A-R-T-Y elements for realizing a post-pandemic transformation towards a truly hearty city, as a new urban development model for SDGs and post-SDGs.

北京交通大学交通运输学院教授,主要从事交通发展战略、交通规划和交通安全等方面的研究工作。主持国家973项目课题2项,国家自然科学基金面上项目5项,国家科技攻关项目1项;获“科技奥运先进个人”、教育部科技成果奖二等奖、北京市科学技术奖二等奖和北京市教育教学成果奖二等奖等奖项;发表学术论文200余篇;获授权发明专利10余项;撰写专著4部、教材15部。

Presided over 2 projects of the National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program), 1 project of the National Key Scientific and Technological Project, 5 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and 1 project of Natural Science Foundation of Hebei Province. Won the Beijing "advanced individual of science and technology Olympics" (the seal of the Ministry of science and Technology), the second prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award, the second prize of science and technology progress award of the Ministry of Education, and the first prize of science and technology award of China Transportation Association.Wrote 4 monographs, 2 of which were supported by the National Science and Technology Academic Works Publishing Fund. I have been granted more than 10 patents, published more than 300 academic papers, including more than 50 SCI research papers and more than 100 EI research papers.

阐述随着高度信息化和城镇化的发展发达国家城市居民出行调查体系的变化。基于我国交通运输大数据与新型城镇化建设与发展,面向城市综合治理和高质量发展,提出构建我国城市综合交通调查体系的建议。具体而言,基于我国ICT数据与城市群、都市圈和城市类型,分别提出融合ICT与PT数据的居民交通出行调查方法,为城市交通出行模型构建,进而为城市综合治理和经济社会发展提供交通数据支撑。

Describe how person trip survey system in developed countries changes with the development of advanced information and urbanization. Based on transportation big data and development of new urbanization in China, aiming at urban comprehensive governance and high-quality development, we propose suggestions on building a China’s urban comprehensive trip survey system. Specifically, based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) data and types of urban agglomerations, metropolitan areas and cities in China, we propose person trip survey methods designated for urban agglomerations, metropolitan areas and cities, respectively, blending ICT and person trip data. It provides transportation data support for urban comprehensive governance, and economic and social development.

关教授兼任教育部高等学校交通运输类教学指导委员会委员、交通工程教学指导分委员会副主任委员,公安部、中央文明办、住房城乡建设部、交通运输部“全国城市交通文明畅通提升行动计划”专家组专家,WTC(世界交通运输大会)运输规划学部联合主席;主持完成国家科技支撑、“973”项目子课题、国家自然科学基金项目、北京市自然科学基金等科研项目,共发表科研论文200余篇,出版多项著作。

Hong-Zhi Guan received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in transportation engineering from Xi'an Highway College (now Chang'an University), Xi'an, China, in 1982 and 1989, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in traffic engineering from Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan, in 1997. Since December 2002, he has been a Professor with the College of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing, China. His research interests include travel decision-making behaviors, urban parking, holiday transportation, elderly travel issues, and traffic calming. Prof. Guan won the 3rd Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Public Security, China, and the 3rd Prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award, China, in 2006 and 2007, respectively.

高铁客运站旅客候车需求预测方法研究

A Study on the Prediction Method of Passenger Waiting Demand in High-Speed Railway Station

考虑旅客出行特征和列车开行规律,建立高铁客运站候车室旅客聚集人数预测模型,分析节假日和平日期间不同规模车站等待旅客数量变化规律。研究结果表明,缩短旅客提前到达时间长度可以有效减少位于新一线城市的大中型车站旅客聚集人数;节假日期间,一线城市特大型车站旅客候车需求高于其他类型车站;平日期间,新一线城市大中型车站旅客候车需求低于一线城市大型车站,高于三四线城市小型车站。

Considering the travel characteristics of passengers and the regularity of trains, a prediction model for the number of passengers gathered in the waiting room of high-speed railway station was established, and the changing law of the number of waiting passengers at stations of different scales during holidays and weekdays was analyzed. The research results show that shortening the length of early arrival time of passengers can effectively reduce the number of passengers in large and medium-sized stations, which located in new first-tier cities. During holidays, the waiting demand of passenger at super-large stations in first-tier cities is higher than that of other types of stations. During weekdays, the passenger waiting demand of large and medium-sized stations in new first-tier cities is lower than that of large stations in first-tier cities, and higher than that of small stations in third-tier and fourth-tier cities.

Professor, Department of Urban Planning, Tongji University, doctoral supervisor. President of the 14th World Transport Research Conference. Executive Director of the World Society for Transport Studies, President of the International Chair (China) Academic Member of the French Dynamic Cities Foundation. The main research fields are urban space and traffic planning, urban traffic and sustainable development, urban traffic space management and design. The main research projects include the World Bank's transportation development strategy for medium-sized cities in the Asia Pacific region; UN Habitat Outlook for Urban Transport Development in Northeast Asia.

高铁站选址与出行效率

将高铁站选在远离市中心可以避免拆迁及各种协调的过程,有利于加快高铁建设。然而市中心依然是高铁使用者的出发地和目的地。为了避免从市区到高铁站路程中的不确定性,人们需要提前进站等候,需要建设一个巨型的候车空间,大大降低出行效率,同时建设巨大的交通基础设施将市中心与郊区高铁站联接起来。为此我们建议建设位于市中心的多个高铁站,以提高人们高铁旅行的效率,减少基础设施,减少高铁出行两端接驳小汽车依赖性。

To speed-up the construction of high speed railway, many standardized technology and processes have been developed. Normally, the HSR stations has been placed in suburban areas far from the city centers to reduce the cost of property right-of-way relating to removal of housing or industry, as well as to decrease the complexity in negotiation. However, the city center remains the main origin and ultimate destination of most HSR passengers, especially for businessmen who use more HSR. Besides, the huge-scale railway stations in suburbs of China, being built to provide a comfortable waiting space for passenger, has weakened the time saving effect for HSR passengers travel less than 500 kilometers. It is also suggested that instead of constructing one costly, huge, high-speed station in the suburban areas of metropolis, building multiple stations close to city centers will greatly reduce the access/egress time, thereby enhancing the travel efficiency of high-speed rail.

Shi Jing, an engineering doctor, professor and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Civil Engineering of Tsinghua University, director of the Institute of Transportation Design, deputy director of the Institute of Transportation of Tsinghua University, and head of the road and railway discipline. Director of the Digital Transportation Future Technology Research Center, Wuxi Institute of Applied Technology, Tsinghua University. Member of the Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education for the Transportation Specialty of Colleges and Universities, and Chairman of the Transportation Culture and Education Discipline of the WTC Transportation Planning Department. He has the qualification of a registered professional engineer (technician in the road sector) from the Japanese construction department and a registered professional engineer (civil engineering) from the Asia Pacific Economic and Trade Cooperation (APEC).

老龄化、休闲出行与交通基础设施建设

随着我国老龄化、机动化的发展和人民生活水平提高,老年人休闲出行需求日益增长,交通基础设施的适老化建设面临严峻挑战。为此,我们重点从以下两大方面开展研究:1)老年人休闲出行行为特征和机理;2)以高铁和ITS为代表的交通基础设施与服务对休闲出行的影响。研究表明,未来老年人对于小汽车的依赖性会增加,应提高老年驾驶员的行车安全性。要注重交通基础设施的适老化设计,为老年人创造安全、舒适、便捷的交通出行环境。

With the development of aging and motorization and the improvement of people's living standards in China, the demand for leisure travel of the elderly is increasing, and the construction of transportation infrastructure for aging is facing severe challenges. Therefore, we focus on the following two aspects of research: 1) the characteristics and mechanism of the leisure travel behavior of the elderly; 2) the impact of transportation infrastructure and services represented by high-speed rail (HSR) and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) on leisure travel. The research shows that the dependence of elderly on cars will increase in the future, thus the driving safety of elderly drivers should be improved. We should pay attention to the aging-friendly design of transportation infrastructure to create a safe, comfortable and convenient transportation environment for the elderly.

杨敏,东南大学青年首席教授、交通学院副院长,教育部青年长江学者。学术兼职包括世界交通运输大会(WTC)运输规划学部联合主席、中国交通运输协会青科委副主任等。致力于公共交通、智慧出行、综合枢纽与运输服务领域研究,主持国家重点研发计划课题和国家自然科学基金项目5项,荣获国家科技进步二等奖、教育部技术发明一等奖、中国公路学会科学技术一等奖等学术奖励10余项。

Min Yang, the Young Chief Professor of Southeast University, the vice president for the school of transportation of Southeast university, and the Changjiang scholar of the Ministry of Education of the P.R.C. Yang’s Academic job includes the co-chairman of the transportation planning department of the World Transport Convention (WTC), the deputy director of the Working Committee of young scientific and technological workers of the China Communications and Transportation Association, and etc. Yang focuses on and commits to research in public transport, smart travel, integrated transportation hub, and transport services. Yang presided 5 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the National Key R&D Program of China respectively. Yang also won more than 10 academic awards such as the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of the Technological Invention Award of the national Ministry of Education.

城市群综合枢纽联程出行与场景应用

Connecting Travel and Application Scenarios of Integrated Transportation Hub in Urban Agglomerations

阐述城市群多模式交通联程出行服务关键技术,基于用户画像、瓶颈诊断、方案生成、主动调控等关键技术提出构建一体化联程出行服务系统平台。以联程票务、手机信令大数据为基础,对比研究长三角、京津冀等重点城市群综合枢纽联程设施分布、出行分布特征,基于联程旅客中转枢纽选择影响因素提出枢纽群资源配置差异性侧重及共性化策略。以空铁联程、空巴联程为例进行场景应用分析,进而提高综合交通枢纽节点联程出行服务质量。

This research expounded the fundamental technologies of connecting travel services of multi-modes in urban agglomerations, and built an integrated connecting travel service system platform based on the fundamental technologies such as user profiling, bottleneck diagnosis, scheme generation, and active control and regulation. Based on the connecting travel ticketing and mobile signaling big data, the connecting travel facilities and travel distribution characteristics of integrated transportation hubs in key urban agglomerations such as the Yangtze River Delta and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region were analyzed and compared. Based on the influencing factors of transfer hub choices of connecting travel passengers, the diverse essential strategies and common strategies of resource allocation for integrated transportation hub groups were proposed. Taking air-rail connecting and air-road connecting travel as examples, this research conducted the scenario analysis to improve the connecting travel service quality of integrated transportation hub nodes.
